Booya · AI / Video · Solo Build
Booya.ai
The Problem
Most people show up to Zoom and Google Meet in whatever they happen to be wearing. Looking client-ready usually means buying a new suit, rigging up lighting, or fiddling with a webcam — effort and expense most people skip, so they show up looking less polished than they'd like.
The Solution
I solo-built Booya.ai as an exercise between craft and AI — designing and engineering everything myself. It upgrades your look for every call with a virtual wardrobe, AI grooming touch-ups, and scene polish, all processed through an external video editing API on the backend.
I built it with Cursor, connected it to Xcode, and shipped the whole thing end to end — one person owning the design, the engineering, and the product. Dress for the call, digitally.
Key Capabilities
Virtual Wardrobe
Swap in a blazer, pick a shirt color, and try a complete look in seconds. Don't buy a new suit — suit up in the app and look client-ready on any call.
AI Grooming
Skin smoothing, under-eye brighten, teeth whitening, and hair touch-up with a one-tap Auto Enhance — processed through an external video editing API on the backend.
Workspace Scene
Pick a polished background, dial in soft, bright, or cinematic lighting, and control blur — so your scene looks intentional on Zoom and Google Meet.
Product in Action
The Outcome
An end-to-end product built by one person — proof that a solo designer-engineer can ship a polished, real-time video tool from concept to working app.
The project was an exercise in the seam between craft and AI: every screen, interaction, and backend pipeline designed and built by hand, with AI accelerating the work in between.
